“Our company in Beluša was founded in 1995 by the Dutch group Brinkers, which has a history of more than 100 years. In 1997, the production of margarines and vegetable fats was put into operation. Over the next decades, the company has become one of the most important producers and suppliers of margarines for the bakery and confectionery industry in Central Europe. In 2008, the Norwegian Orkla Group became the new owner of the Beluša plant, through the Swedish company KaKa AB, which is currently our 100% shareholder. Along with its partners, Beluša Foods is today leader in Slovak and Czech markets, well known and respected player in Hungary and Poland, and is extending its operations to other countries.“
Our customers are wholesale customers and households.
We supply a complete portfolio of margarines, vegetable fats and shortenings (table, spread, cream, filling, coating, frying).
The products are checked in our bakery before shipment.
Seal of Quality
The processing of margarines and fats is certified according to FSSC: 22000 and the Norwegian methodology Orkla Food Safety Standard, based on latest BRC releases.
Supplier selection and quality control on input
The monitoring of oils and fats begins with the control of goods loaded in incoming trucks and subsequent pumping into storage tanks, followed by analyses done by our laboratory.
Process control and output check of parameters
During production, the continuous control of raw materials on input, packaging material, as well as the physical and chemical properties of the finished products is ensured.
Application test
Test bakery
All our margarines are subjected to an applied bakery test. The products are tested in our own bakery under the conditions in which they will be processed by our customers.
